SOLVED PROLONGING functionality of BATTERY (it doesn't have a life)- Windows 10 Options?

Lenovo "Vantage" (V) indicated that using it to set up battery re-charge restricting it to around 60% max. was the way to max. "life" of the battery . Settings indication on V was that the "conservation mode" was incompatible with "rapid recharge". Of course any search under recharge produced no indication of any such possibility on W10. Has anyone any indication as to whether a "rapid recharge " option exists in some obscure area of W10?

It was just less than useless set up on V; rapid charge has no apparent meaning.
