Will a repair disk from one computer work on a different computer using the same operating system ?
windows 10 64 bit

In a nutshell the answer is "Yes" a Win10 64 bit will work on any Win 10 64 bit machine, 32 bit machine require 32 bit repair disks.
What I don't know is if Win 10 Pro 64 bit and Home 64 bit editions can use the same repair disk.
I know someone on the forum more knowledgeable than me, can clarify if the repair disks have to be the same version of Win 10 Pro or Home?

I don't know for sure as the functionality of a Windows 10 recovery/repair disk. But it seems those type of disks require you to log into the current install.

I always keep install media around since it isn't created from a specific install.

I always used to create a repair disk with every system image, until I found out it wasn't necessary.
