Security Settings Do Not Allow This Application To Be Installed!

I know the program is safe. I want to install it. How do I change the setting?

Hi gapi,

open Settings > Apps and make sure it allows apps from anywhere!. What security are you using and are you in "S Mode"?.

A quick way could be to temporarily disable windows defender.

Not in S mode. I have installed other programs. I'm running Win10 Home. None of the above works. Turned off firewall, realtime protection, enabled install from anywhere, Mercy I hate Win10.

Are you logged in as Admin?. Do you have more than one user on the computer and what is their status (admin or guest/normal user).

Yes I am the admin, no other accounts. I enabled gpedit.msc and allowed .exe but still get the message shown.

@davehc spoke about Windows Defender above, are you using that or do you have a different Anti Virus app installed?. It might be blocked by your AV app, Dave also suggested disabling WD (temporary), did you try that?.

Cannot find the words Windows defender. I did toggle (windows protection real time protection on/off.
