ShortCut Right Clicking And File Opening Question ?

Hello,

I may be wrong about this, that old age problem again, but
I seem to remember that right clicking a Shortcut would give one the
option of going to, and opening up, the Folder or File directly.

Don't see this option anymore when right clicking.

What is the easiest way of going to the referenced Folder/file the shortcut refers to ?
