After several attempts and blundering around I am now jmccleary50 same as my email. Frustrating but it did work.

Yes. I was jmccleary but somehow my username and password became corrupted and I couldn't log in. So I tried a new account. Big mistake! After blundering around Ian bailed me out. All's well that ends well.
