While testing a Win 10 Home upgrade to a Win 10 Pro system, the boot record, configuration, and whatever was destroyed. I've spent about a week with tremendous, patient assistance from the Install board of this forum without success. I'm going to return the 2nd system to the manufacturer. Before returning it, I want to remove all personal information from the 2nd computer. How do I do that if it cannot be booted up?

boot from an OS on a USB stick assuming you have such a thing or can borrow it. Used to be one would use Ubuntu for this. Mount the HDD and then erase it. Maybe one can do this from a Windows install device now I don't know.
