The Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Update 4 Redistributable Package (KB3119142) started occurring repeatedly, up to five times a day, after the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3124263) was done - each time saying it was "successful". I tried System Restore to before the series of updates including 1511, and the process started again. I had sixteen Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 identical updates listed before I did the System Restore, and my computer was slowing down dramatically. After the System Restore procedure, it was back to normal, but now it's happening again, one or two times each day. So far, five times. What is happening?
