After the reboot, i have a message that there is no operating system

I have Windows 7 Home Premium. Received the offer for the free Windows 10 version. I downloaded it, and executed it. It eventually shut down my computer. it will not reboot and give me the message that there is no operating system. not sure what to do. i have tried to reboot with the upgrade part of my Windows 7 disk but it also tells me that there is no operating system. What else can i try?
