All my links are disabled on emails

Since the last update I can no longer click on a link in an email as it comes up "Unable to open .............. and the link is displayed". I use Outlook to list my email accounts and this happens on all the email addresses. The only way I can get to the link site is to ignore Outlook and go straight to AOL , gmail etc. and it is very time consuming to do this. Any ideas how I can enable the links please? I've tried looking in Outlook but there is nothing there other than enabling Spam.

I haven't used Outlook in quite awhile but some functions/applications in the Office suite required using Ctrl + Click to open links. I just checked Office 2013 Word 15 and that was still the way to do it.

It might be as simple of resetting the default how to open back to you favorite browser.
