Hello,

I am trying to find a very, very, basic audio equalizer that I can leave open
on my desktop screen all the time.

Hoping to find just a slider perhaps that goes between Treble and Bass, and that's all.

Don't want any of the really impressive audio equalizers available.

**I want something that truly just mimics the old Tone bass-treble knobs on old radios etc.

Really simple and basic. Just one adjustment or slider, and that's it. (very little real estate left on my desktop a problem also)

Might anyone suggest something ?

Much thanks,
Bob

There is an equalizer in Windows, but with a number of presets rather than sliders or knobs. In the Run command box type mmsys.cpl. In the dialog that opens select the Playback tab, click on your speakers (to highlight) and then click Properties. In the new dialog that opens select the Enhancements tab and click the Equalizer checkbox. In the Setting pull-down menu select the profile that best meets your needs.
