I have audio on a cd that's saved in mp3 format. How can I make a cd copy of it when my laptop (Windows10/intel i5) wont even read it in the optical disc tray?

Will the CD drive read any other discs in File Explorer? If not or not reliably there may be a hardware issue with it. If other discs work the one with the audio may have a problem, if it's a simple .mp3 file might be able to copy it to a folder on the computer's drive, put in a blank disc and copy from the folder to the disc. If it's a commercial audio CD I use Windows Media Player [in Windows Accessories] to Rip the music to the computer as .mp3 files.

Forgot to mention, looking at a commercial music/audio CD in File Explorer shows only .cda files of 1KB, are only pointers to the actual 'hidden' content.
