Avast repeatedly finds & 'removes' VBS:Downloader-ATJ[Trj]

Dear W10F,

For the past several days now even though I have kept this laptop off the internet except for troubleshooting, Avast keeps finding and 'removing' VBS:Dowloader=ATJ[Trj] repeatedly - about a dozen times so far. Is there any way to remove this virus permanently?
