Good news I suppose. At least, something of a light at the end of the tunnel
We are now getting the Windows 10 May 2020 Update (20H1) ready for release and releasing Build 19041.207 to Windows Insiders in the Release Preview ring. We believe that Build 19041.207 is the final build and we will continue to improve the overall experience of the May 2020 Update on customers’ PCs as part of our normal servicing cadence.

It the past when something like this has happened involving the Release Preview Ring, it's usually not long before the general public gets their hands on it.
Although they're calling it the "May 2020 Update (20H1)...... SO there's that.

Thanks Dave. I probably saw that as, I read most if not all of your posts.
I'll excuse my self of any possible oversight on my part and blame my Coronavirus obsession. :D
I just thought I would put something in the actual Insider sub-forum since it still applies to an Insider build.
For the sake of posterity

I remain semi-interested, since they released the actual ISO back on February 25th when it was 19041.84, so....
I'm curious as to anyone who might have jumped on that and used it to perform a clean install using that ISO as to whether or not they may have been able to receive subsequent cumulative updates, keeping it up-to-date, outside of the Insider Program.

UPDATE: Again... For Insiders in the Release Preview Ring.
We are continuing to work on getting the Windows 10 May 2020 Update (20H1) ready for release. Today we are releasing Build 19041.208 to Windows Insiders in the Release Preview ring. While we originally thought that Build 19041.207 would be the final build, we made the decision to take in one more fix we felt was important to have before making the May 2020 Update generally available. We believe that Build 19041.208 is the new final build

So I suppose the "May Update" is still on track for "May"

I decided to go ahead and pull the trigger on this "May Update", thing.
I grabbed the ISO that Microsoft provided for download back in February.
Used that to upgrade my main computer (not and insider machine) to the 2004 Version
AND
Ended up with this

The install went well and not a painfully long or slow process.
Then I checked for updates of which there were two for the OS and two for Defender

After which I ended up with this

So apparently, I'm good to go.
At least it seems to be running and updating OK so far.

No watermark, Trouble?

I went for it a little while ago, but finished with an earlier build - with watermark.

Nope....
No watermark, no expiration date.
Pretty sure, we're good to go, although we still have a bit left of the month of May so I guess I'll wait for a final formal declaration
