Card Reader failure

All of a sudden Windows will not recognize my card reader. Has always worked in the past but this week, no dice. Any clues anyone.

All of a sudden Windows will not recognize my card reader. Has always worked in the past but this week, no dice. Any clues anyone.

Hard to formulate solutions not knowing anything about the computer nor the exact Version and Build of Win10. The card reader on my Desktops and Notebooks aren't showing any issues.

I apologize for lack of info. Was so frustrated. Am Using a Dell Inspiron QRP3GO, Using Widows Home 10.0 Build 17299, X64 bit. I previously had troubles with Windows recognizing my Canon PowerShot camera (when it previously had worked). Could find no solutions from either Microsoft or Canon so just restored to a time prior to the last Windows update and it works just fine again.
