Changing most used to whatever in start

I feel like i'm doing something wrong here... I've turn on the "Show most used app" in start setings but it isn't working like it should be. After a whole day of surfing, playing games, editing images and all that shat, there isn't one app that's listed there. (I've removed the default apps placed as "most used")

Sooo... I've come here to ask if anybody knows a solution to this?

Also, I would like to ask if it is possible to pick a fixed set of apps that's going to be shown there? I was planning on making the tiles a sort of menu for my games and use the left menu for daily apps like chrome, office, paint, etc. Is such a thing possible?
