I have two laptops, First with windows 7 (with cd rom) and second window 10(without cd rom). I want to access the cdrom in windows 7. So i Created an ad hoc network in windows 7(named Maj2) and started and I see that I is waiting for users to connect. but in windows 10 when I check for new networks I don't see any any network named Maj2. How can I access the newly created ad hoc network? How can I access the two laptops , one with windows 7 and the other with windows 10, wit wifi network?

Firstly. Can you see the W7 machine from the W10 machine. Set up file sharing for the DVD on the W7 machine and then try to map that drive. You will need the computer name and password for this of course. It sounds easy and it should be but that doesn't mean it won't take several tries.
