Desktop Icons

All of my desktop icons have disappeared from my desktop. I am unable to to drag and drop replacements. I can drag, but they won't drop on the desktop.

They won't drop or they do and you just can not see them?

Right click desktop and go to the view option. See if there is a check mark in the box for "Show desktop icons".

Edit:
If that doesn't work try restarting the computer.
