Can you tell me how to do it I have tried several ideas but non worked

open windows mail. go to settings, then 1. manage accounts. 2. click on the account you want to delete.

I think you may have misunderstood my problem. I do not want to close an account but need to delete obsolete email addresses from the people folder, so they do not keep appearing when trying to write new emails. I have tried several suggestions for this unsuccessfully. If you can help with the problem please do

Hi Derian,

normally a simple right click on the name of the person is enough then click on "Delete".
