I recovered my hp pavilion p2 pc serial mxu23001my when I put the disk in it did didn't start code b1initializelibrary failed 0xc00000by came up it won't even read a CD please help

it seems like either your ODD has gone bad or the wiring to the motherboard is faulty. What you can do is to try the drive in a different pc if possible. If it does not read there as well, you have to get a replacement drive...
