Finding email address from alias

I use Windows 10. Whenever I click on webpage hyperlink my pc opens the selected webpage window. However, whenever I click on a person email, nothing happens – left or right click – no difference. This is Ok if the hyperlink in view is the actual email address, e.g. (e-mail address removed). I can copy it and paste it into my webmail account to create and send a message – no problem.

However, if the hyperlink in view is just a name, e.g. Stephen Denker, no workaround is possible.

What can or should I do?
