Bought and tried two 64 gig flash drives to create image backup. First told they were not NTFS format. Did that. Now both come up as an invalid backup location, although image should take only 48 gig. Have seen other queries with same problem but no answers. Do not want to use laptop more until I have a system recovery method.

If you care to do it this way......................

I do System Image Backup regularly.
In fact only a week ago I needed the image backup to restore my system.

You need a DVD for that........
Go to File History > bottom left, select System image backup > top left, click Create a system image > insert a DVD > follow the prompts.

Thanks. Just finished that. Just disappointing I could not put it on the flash drives I just bought. But I appreciate the help.
