For Any Google Earth Users: Photo Saving Format Question

Hello,

Have saved some photos from Google Earth Pro to pc.
It seems that it saves them "automatically" as .jpg

Any way of saving them to a .kml format, which a program I'm
using seems to require ?

I'd guess it was a proprietary format and Google is making it easier for folks to use the images without needing that actual program. What one would need is a program that can use either/any format, open the .jpg then resave as a different type such as the .kml.

JPG files are image-only files, whereas KML files are a markup language that contain other data.

Instead of saving an image, try exporting a KML file as follows:
