Briefly. I installed Google drive on windows 10 laptop and did not go well. Tried to uninstall it but it would not uninstall saying program was still running. Eventually I had to resort to using a restore point. That got rid of Google drive but when I closed down the restore message another message popped up to say could not open app options to close message or save to clipboard. After repeated attempts to close message went away.

Problem now is all my default apps on the task bar have become invisible. I have tried other restore points and problem still remains.
I have tried a Microsoft reset of default apps which did not work. I have unpinned and re-pinned which does not work.

Solutions on the Internet and youtube seem to complex for an inexperienced person such as me. Is there a straight forward solution.?
