Groove Music

I've tried and tried to get Groove Music to work, to no avail. When I open it and select a file to play, it plays for a few seconds and then the program shuts down. Does Media Player need to be disabled or removed to allow Groove Music to work?

I don't use it, but mine works fine with media player.
