SOLVED Icon problems...

Ok I want to say I am new to the forums but I have used windows wway back when windows xp was popular.

Now I kidna like my icons being big thumbnails

But for some reason the doom 3 icon wont be a thumbnail and I checked the ico files for the thumbnail and small icon have the same pixel size so I don't know what I am doing bad...

I just googled Doom3 icons, and downloaded some, that were made by artists at Deviant.
They are really 256 & 512 .jpgs/.pngs, not real icons. They all look correct size on my desktop.

Real icons have many sized pictures 16/32/64/128/256/512 pixels all in one .ico file.
This way, proper size will fit the size of desktop, for best clarity.

Could be, the icon that your computer shows, is a small 16 pixel size picture, placed inside a 32 pixel size picture,
so it can't get bigger?

The problem is fixed , I found another icon that goes great with doom 3
