Hello Windows Insiders, today we are releasing 20H1 Build 18841 to Windows Insiders who have opted into Skip Ahead.

I really haven't noticed anything particularly jaw dropping between this and the previous Skip Ahead Ring build.
Seems to be a fair amount of focus on problems with Windows "Sandbox"

Tried this and same problem with all versions past 18305. Someone changed the code after 305 that makes all of these fail. Why does nobody at Microsoft check this code? I do not use UEFI if that is the problem.

That may not be a problem except for booting.

18845 .. what is it now, seems like almost 2 two builds a week? I suppose in another couple of weeks it will slow down quite a bit.

I would expect so, as 1903 should be finalized RTM in March for a GA release in April.
I've been kinda waiting for a feature lock announcement not sure if I've missed it or if it's still pending.

Remember these "20H1" Skip ahead releases are for something that is a year away. We would expect something for the 19H2 (1909) build to be somewhere out there and will presumably be coming sometime soon.

YES.... you are correct the 19 represents the year 2019 or in the case of the Skip Ahead Build 20 represents the year 2020.
The H1 represents the first half of that year and H2 (when we see it) will represent the second half of that year.

Probably due to wanting to get away (as much as possible) from actual Months like April and October

Thanks for the confirmation. Have you ever had to deal with someone who wouldn't accept your advice/knowledge without confirmation from another source?

It's been a while but I've ran into a few instances of that in the past.
Now I just assume that everything I submit or suggest will be double checked for accuracy through other source, but.....
I don't consider it my job to provide some type of two step authentication, although I will occasionally provide a SOURCE link if it's not too much work.
