Keyboard typing incorrect symbols and combinations

My keyboard keeps typing letters with other symbols and symbols with additional symbols. For example, "p" types "[", "(down arrow)" types "0", "(right arrow)" types "3", ".+" types "'.", "/," types "|?", and "(numpad dash)" types "(right alt)". Adjusting keyboard settings hasn't resolved the issue, and it's becoming increasingly frustrating to type.
