Lexmark 730 Printer doesn't work

Installed 10 and now printer doesn't work. Uninstalled and tried again, no luck.
I see it in Settings, Devices and says driver is unavailable. Search for drive but comes back and says I have the correct version.
Can't install software as DVD drive no longer works either.

Maybe we can start with the DVD drive. Is it physically broken or is it just not recognized by Windows 10?
IF the latter try this....
Right click the start button and choose Command Prompt (Admin) and in the command prompt window type
reg.exe add "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\atapi\Controller0" /f /v EnumDevice1 /t REG_DWORD /d 0x00000001
hit enter
restart you computer

Thanks, the drive was working prior to 10. I dropped it off at a friends to see if coincidence that it broke somehow. It would spin up with a disk in but nothing would happen.
i'll try your suggestion when I get it back.
