Lumia 950 audio jack messed up

no matter what i do my audio jack won't work on my phone. It produces sound that is loud and distorted in my right ear and quiet sound in my left ear, It has been like this for months! I've tried cleaning it out several times with alcohol and i even paid $15 for a new jack... Still isn't working... i dont know what to do and nobodies suggestions are working... Please help

have you checked Windows Start Menu > Windows System > Control Panel > Sound and taken a look at the settings there?:

this is on windows phone... Not windows desktop

i am 100% sure this isn't a software problem for two reasons.
1: This started months ago
2: It started when i unplugged my headphones, i plugged it back in and it didn't work.
i recently got around to getting a new jack fitted and it still doesn't work
