Missing Tiles, Start Menu, Etc.

Just installed Win 10 Wed via the automatic upgrade from Win 7 Home. Process worked fine; activation confirmed etc. Yesterday logs in and found the start menu not working; no tiles when I click on tablet mode, and Edge and Store no longer on taskbar. I did not have any problems when Win 10 was installed on a laptop via the automatic upgrade from Win 8.1 so I do not know what the fix is.

Any advice would be great.
