how do i stop my web pages from automatically refreshing and bouncing me to top of the page? it just started happening.

Have you tried to factory restore your web browser's settings and disable all plugins? Your web browser is most likely malfunctioning due to some kind of add-on or setting that has compromised it without your knowledge.
