Could anyone out there help me?
Here's my problem: When I attempt to open .pst extension file a pop-up box stating: "Cannot start Microsoft Outlook". Is there something I can do myself to fix Outlook?
Thanks
Would you mind advising as to which version you are currently running?
You can try opening "Office Outlook" and then use the menu bar "File" -> "Open" (it might say open & export depending on version) -> Open Outlook Data File -> Browse (use the common dialog box to locate the .pst file you wish to open).
It should appear in the left side navigation pane.
I currently have MS Office 2010. Outlook disappeared when I upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10.
Win 10 wouldn't even install Outlook from my Office CD. I believe at the time a pop up asked me to install Office 365. Outlook was a great program.
