New laptop

I bought my wife a new laptop and I started to set it up for her. I got the basic stuff done, I forgot the password that I used to set up her login. Now she is trying to login to the laptop and the password is not working. Is there a way for her to access the computer?

Your wife didn't give you the password to use? If you can't find it you may be able to use some key combination to set it back to factory specifications so you can start over.....
