Opera sold to Chinese consortium

Here's a surprise. on February 10, 2016, a consortium of Chinese firms purchased Opera. With a tiny niche in the computer browser market, Opera has been doing well with mobile devices and has a lot of advertising revenue.

It's sort of hard in the Browser market after MS blew Netscape out of the market. You really can't charge to purchase browsers anymore so a company must earn revenues from somewhere else to survive.
