After updating to the latest Windows 10 version on July 10, both my PC and laptop are experiencing significant slowdowns. Booting up to the main desktop and loading web browsers now takes almost a minute. I can see the applications trying to load, but it’s taking way too long.
My laptop has a 1TB hard drive with 800GB of free space, so storage isn’t the issue. I’ve checked similar forums for solutions, but nothing has resolved my problem. I only have a few apps installed, primarily QuickBooks, and my Task Manager shows nothing unusual running.
My PC has the OS installed on a 500GB SSD and a 1TB SATA hard drive for apps and games. It’s strange that both devices would be affected simultaneously. Any suggestions?
