Playing a DVD I burnt myself off the TV on Windows 10

Ever since I transferred to Windows 10, every time I try & play a DVD on Windows media player ( that I've recorded off the TV ) , when I put the DVD into my computer, a message pops up saying Insert Disc to Play & then nothing happens. . I don't know what's going on.
Any help would be appreciated !
