Power loss during download/installing mof updates

Hi there –

Greetings to All,

What does one do with a Windows 10 Insider Preview major update, being half way thru’ downloading or installing when there is suddenly a power loss? Living in Thailand this happens during the rainy season, and can last minutes or even hours.

My question: After return of power, should one simply continue with the now second download/installation or go back to a perfect previous full-disk backup and start all over again?

Grateful for any advice and or suggestions in advance!

The situation suggests the download/install may be corrupted so the full-disk restore would be the way I'd go.

I thought that much, thanks for the confirmation.
I will start all over again using the full-disk backup!
