Maybe try removing the printer from Control Panel -> Devices and Printers, as well as Device Manager and if prompted uninstall drivers as well.
Uninstall any remnants of any associated software for the printer.
Unplug it from your computer and start fresh.
Get the latest driver they have here http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/ML-1210
Which looks like it may only be as recent as Windows 8 (it may still work) and see if that helps with the issue at all.
