Thousands of web servers have been infected and had their files encrypted by a new strain of ransomware named Lilocked (or Lilu).

Will be interesting to see which Nation State is trying to top up their coffers - and what it is they want the money for.

Here in NZ some Bitcoin providers have suffered huge losses with someone hacking and stealing the bitcoin folders - perhaps our GSCB can assist by stealing the bitcoin folders off these jerks and returning them to those individuals or companies who will no doubt end up paying the jerks to get their data back.
