Reset old laptop

I've got and old Toshiba Qosmio x875 laptop that I would like to try and reset as it's running slowly. I'm a bit wary though as I recall when I first bought it some years ago it required some Toshiba drivers downloaded and installed before it would run. At the time I got a Tech in to do this for me. If I try to reset it will I have the same problems, it has been upgraded to Win 10 Pro. Thanks for advice.

Start Menu > Settings (small cog) > Update and Security > Recovery > Reset This PC
