Screen Snip not working

The screen snip is stopped working in the last few weeks. What is the solution?

Relaunch Snipping Tool: Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc keys to open the Task Manager. Under the Processes tab, right-click the Snipping Tool listed on the left and select End task from the pop-up menu. Restart your Snipping Tool and check if it can function properly.

Are you selecting it from the start menu, or from a shortcut?
It is soon to be made redundant, and the alternative will
be/is "snip and sketch"
