My mouse has consistently failed to wake up after a system hibernation event. The keyboard would wakeup the display but the mouse was dead. I also had a Bluetooth mouse installed and would use this for mouse operation when my system mouse failed to wake up. When I looked at the mouse information under Device Manager I found three entries. One was for the Bluetooth mouse and there were two entries for the system mouse (entitled HID - compliant mouse). When I removed the duplicate HID-compliant mouse it corrected my wakeup problem.
