Surface Book 2 - Second Monitor

Hey. I got a SB2 and have attached it to a Samsung 1080 curved monitor via an HDMI cable plugged into my surface dock. The screen works BUT the text seems really blurred and not great. Is it cos the resolution is 3000x2000 and then is worse/lower on a bigger screen??? It’s been annoying me all day and I’m wondering if I can improve it or if I need a monitor with a better resolution?? Please help!!! It’s used for work and the fonts defo aren’t right and aren’t sharp like they should be. Is it the monitor? Or my setup?? Thanks so much.
