Classify notebook/tablet(like surface pro) for windows 10

Hi all,

Is there any unique registry or other method that I can classify this is surface pro using Windows 10 Pro/Home and Notebook/Desktop using the same OS?

[Trouble]

The Computer Name / NetBIOS friendly name, but.....
You may have to get creative as I believe it only supports 15 characters
So a Surface Pro 4 Tablet, running Windows 10 Pro, might look something like this
SP4_W10Pro_Tab (or DT for DeskTop or LT for LapTop instead of Tab for Tablet).
OR
You might consider a desktop overlay like this

It's pretty customizeable depending on what you want to do.
Your post is not exactly clear as to what you are attempting to accomplish.

I need to restrict the VPN access from the user using windows 10 tablet device(surface pro) but allow the others.
The device is not owned by company. Therefore, I cannot control the Computer name or tell them to change.
Is there any unique key in registry that I can classify them?
