Updates

As a pensioner I cannot express how upset I was when my system automatically updated and in doing so used up all my data and I had to pay again, despite just paying for 6 months data only 2 days before this happened. I have to be sure that I am in control so a friend has set 'something' which should stop auto updates but I am still nervous. I have no doubt my views are very old fashioned but I cannot believe I HAVE to have updates that I don't want!! I rarely use my laptop and don't want or need all the latest whatevers!!

If you use windows 10 Microsoft insist that you keep it updated for security reasons.
