Use paid install disk to fix a different broken system?

I have a system that was updated over the Internet from Win 8.1. It crashed. I tried to "reset" it from a downloaded .iso,
but now the system will not boot at all--the reset did not work. I have a paid-for install disk I used to install to another
system. I know the install key of the broken system. Can I use the paid-for disk to install a clean system to the broken
computer using the Windows key that the broken system was using?

Just do a clean install from the downloaded iso file. It's the exact same thing as the paid for disk.

And yes, you can use the paid for disk.
