A new HP laptop had files moved from an old PC.
The HP was used for five months (and files were backed up to a portable drive PDD)
Then the HP crashed.
HP took it, replaced a part, and reloaded the OS, but they erased all files and apps.
I repeated the transfer of files and apps from the old PC successfully.
When I go to restore from the PDD, Win10 does not allow me to direct it away from the new FileHistory folder and to the old FileHistory folder on the PDD. Or, I don’t know how.
