VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE (nvlddmkm.sys)

Hey guys,

Recently i've been getting a BSOD display VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE (nvlddmkm.sys).

I've tried reinstalling drivers and even did a clean win10 install.

Send help computer is unusable and bsods around 15 seconds after boot.

What kind of computer is this??
Manufacturer Name, Model Name, Model Number, Part number?
Which nvidia card do you have installed?
Which driver version do you currently have installed?

Dell inspiron 7447, have an GeForce GTX 850M and Driver version 353.81 I think. This is not updated because i recently did a system restore in hope to fix this issue

Go to Dell Support by product and plug in your Service Tag Number and see what they have in the way of drivers for your Operating System.
Pay particular attention to BIOS, Chipset, Storage Controller, etc.
In the case of laptops, generally their video cards are just proprietary enough to require that you use the System Manufactuer's driver, so....
So make sure you get that driver from Dell as well, then download

Boot into Safe Mode to run it and use the defaults to remove your current driver installation, then
Install the driver for your nVidia card that you acquired from Dell after you reboot.
