Videos dark at start

I've recently installed Windows 10 and ever since then, whenever I watch a video or a gif it's very dark and almost unwatchable. After a few seconds or if I restart the video it's back to normal but it happens with each video/gif I watch on either Chrome or Edge, which is kind of annoying. Any suggestions what might cause this?
