SOLVED Want to add outems to start

it’s difficult identifying the various options to launch a program from

There is Start....on the far left
The start menu
And the pinned programs

I want to add extra programs to Start......

There is a limited choice within customisation but want to add others

Is this possible and how

Create a shortcut to the program you want to add to START. then right click on it and click on [Pin to Start]
If it is already in your list of programs (the alphabetical list in the start menu) right click on it and [Pin to Start]

I know how to do this.....

I am referring to the black start list on the far left of screen, with settings and a couple of other bits, that MS allow you to,add, can I add t this ? I am sure there was an app to do this

You are talking about the space under your account picture??
I do not think there is a way to pin something there unless there is a registry hack or a third party app available.

Yes that’s what I was looking for

Is this called Start ? Gets confused with start menu and the pinned area

Wish they had proper names
